Barbecue Chicken In A Crock Pot

We do a lot of demonstrations all over California. There are so many that often we need to use food items that cook up quickly and that really bring out the smoky flavor or our Gourmet All Natural Barbecue Sauce. Many times I use Turkey Meatballs in this dish which work really well. But when at home and when time is too short to grill I use this excellent Barbecue Chicken In A Crock Pot recipe.

This barbecue chicken dish is easy, convenient and requires almost no attention once it gets cooking.

Ingredients:

4-5 Mixed skinless chicken parts, legs, thighs, breasts
2 Jars of Jake's Original Barbecue Sauce

Preparation:

Pour about 1/2 cup of Barbecue Sauce in the Crock Pot first.
Add the chicken
Coat chicken well with the barbecue sauce.
Cover the contents with crock pot lid.
Cook on high 3-4 hours, or until chicken is fully cooked all the way through.

Once cooked you can shred or cut up the chicken, and replace it in the Barbecue sauce in the pot; mix it all up so all the pieces are coated.

You can keep the slow cooker on low to keep the chicken warm for serving.

Enjoy this great Barbecue Chicken Recipe!
